Hillary's birth time is a little obfuscated, uncertain whether it's morning or evening. The truth, of course, matters greatly in astrology. (It's not uncommon for somebody with a very heavy influence in Scorpio, as she has, to want to hide the truth, want to control the situation to her advantage.)

If Hillary was born at 8 in the morning, it gives one chart; if at 8 in the evening, a very different chart. I've seen an astrological work-up with claims that she was born at 8 AM, but given the events, proclivities, and aspirations of her life, I can't go along with that. It gives a stellium in the hidden 12th, a meek Virgo MC, a self-effacing South Node/Asc, and a Moon "buried" in the 4th as well as an expansive, perhaps fattening, Jupiter in the 1st. This isn't the entity we know!

Instead, I believe Hillary's true birth is 8 PM, which would give her 29º Gemini 50 rising, which is one of the most savvy, clever rising signs that can be had. It would also give her a very painful and very visible emotional Moon at 29º Pisces11 in the 10th house, where the spotlight would be on her emotional drama and even victimization, certainly the shattering Monica Lewinsky thing. (In '98, transformative and intense Pluto was squaring this 5º Pisces MC, and Saturn from this 3rd ruling this 8th was in the 11th opposing Sun, ruler of this 3rd, in this 5th. The bad news about the husband's sex/lovelife knocked the socks off her dreams.)

If this is so, then the Pluto station at 28º Sag in September 2008, right before the next presidential election, will be the most powerful event in her life, exactly on her Descendant/p. Mercury (regarding her husband/spouse), and exactly square her very emotionally visible and vulnerable Pisces Moon in the 10th house. It is my opinion that this is Hillary's chart, that she will - by dint of the humungous amount of money she's accumulated (Scorpio's real good at getting money from others) and through her political savviness (29º Gemini ascendant) in playing Washington's games of power politics - maneuver herself into the nomination. And then she'd find herself extremely vulnerable at the eleventh hour with the revelation of some bombshell evidence, or another event regarding her husband; he may even sabotage her attempt to become president because of unresolved emotional issues between them. (They have very difficult karmic synastry.)

Another reason that I don't feel that Hillary can win election, although she will probably gain the nomination, is because of transiting Neptune. This planet is the ruler of the Pisces Midheaven of the 8 PM chart, and also of her Pisces Moon in the 10th house of this chart. Neptune is passing through Aquarius, and remains at 21º-24º Aquarius throughout the period of nomination and election, meaning that it will oppose Saturn in her 3rd house. Saturn is the ruler of her 8th coming from her 3rd. This is financial dealings and documentation. Neptune in the legal 9th house of the chart opposing Saturn can be extremely undermining regarding documented evidence that can limit or dissolve her dreams of being elected (9th house is government, and is the law and the courts). With Moon in the 10th in late degree, certainly she aspires to power, visibility, and rulership (10th house is the executive or president). However, the Neptune-Saturn pattern, along with the pre-election Pluto SD against her angular Moon, are minefields, and will present her with a great challenge from which her ambitions may never recover.

Over the course of 2009, Saturn opposes the Pisces Moon and squares the Gemini rising. This is where great emotional testing takes place. The difficult marriage and long climb to power would probably conclude.

P.S. Even if the birth time of 8 AM were instead valid, she would regardless be dealing with Neptune opposite Saturn, in a t-square to Mercury and also /ASC/p. South Node as well! Nothing solid can come of this; it is one of the most destabilizing and undermining aspects during a lifetime. So my conclusion is that Hillary can gain the nomination but I don't think she'll win the presidency. If this is the scenario, then the next President will be whoever is the Republican candidate.

The North Node can define your whole life. It should not be ignored for its importance, nor taken lightly as a key (perhaps, THE key) element in a horoscope.

The sign of the Node tells so much about what you will deal with and how you will react to life's choices. If you are interpreting the natal horoscope, pay attention to the Node's sign to give a flavor of the personality (which may be quite different from the "lights" or Ascendant), and the house placement (which will tell much about where life's emphasis is).

Here are some real world examples: two Geminis (usually a sociable, chatty, relatively light sign) with Scorpio Nodes - one, Node in 12th, fleeces investors and ends up in jail; the other, Node in 3rd, gets into an emotionally wrenching war of words over joint finances. Heavy circumstances! A Capricorn (usually staid, career-oriented) with Libra Node in 9th, is an artistic decorator and spiritual counselor. Not what might be expected! A Cancer (usually sensitive, vulnerable, family-oriented) with Aries Node in 4th, is a self-reliant and feisty single parent. No shrinking violet here! And on it goes...

In fact, for a quick interpretive trick, focus on the Node as the key factor and you won't go far wrong.

Many of the Players will be those born with Pluto in Scorpio - November '83-November '95 - an intense lot who can save or kill themselves and the rest of us.

The wheel is turning upward. The Kali Yuga (dark age) is ending. Mankind is facing a powerful choice: to create peace, harmony and exuberant manifestation… or self-destruction. I think we'll make it!

Ever notice how family ties display obvious close horoscope connections? There are often conjunctions galore, especially to personal planets and points. Ever wonder what the Vertex is? Well, think of it as a HINGE! It's a crucial component of your life that everything else HINGES UPON. It seems to be particularly related to the house placement. For instance, if it's in the 5th house, so much will hinge upon your children or creativity. If it's in the 7th, your world turns around relationships and partners. 6th, health. And so forth. Go ahead, try it. It's so easy that it's almost an instantaneous, surefire way to analyze the key factor of your life. And, in reverse, if the Vertex DOES NOT accurately describe such, you've just gotten a major clue (since its calculation includes the Ascendant) regarding rectifying your true birth time!

But, because it has shown such high accuracy, here's something philosophical to consider: as the Vertex only falls between the 5th and 8th houses, it seems to be telling us something about human life. Like, that almost everyone's life revolves around kids, health, job, relationships, and money matters! Wow! But is this a surprise?
